All prints are limited edition. Lightweight, pre-washed 100% cotton. 23" x 23". Some color fading is to be expected as the bandana softens with use.
The Zebras of Prince George's County is a print inspired by the zebras that escaped in Prince George's County, Maryland in 2021.
Little George is a print representing The Little George, a slaving ship that left the coast of West Africa in 1730. Three days into the voyage, the Africans freed themselves, took control of the ship, and sailed the ship back home. Rope symbolizes the captors, blue and green colors represent the choppy seas, and swallows are a symbol of finding your way back home.
Night Forest is about the rebellion and peace of a forest after dark. The trees are the Adinkra symbol for trust and safety.
Founder Ama Schulman on the Hoops print: "I'm not sure when hoop earrings became part of Black culture. I just know I've probably owned hundreds of them over the years and I still feel cool every time I wear a pair."
