Curious to learn more about candle making classes at Sfingiday? You're in the right spot! We know candle making can be intimidating, and our ultimate goal is to show you how easy (and fun!) it can be to make your own candles.
When you sign up for one of our candle making classes, you're signing up for a truly hands-on experience with a seasoned candle maker. You'll learn the ins and outs of candle making, receiving one-on-one guidance along the way.

First, we'll explore over 20 different premium, phthalate-free fragrance oils with a variety of options - fruity, floral, woodsy, spicy, sweet, and everything in between. Whether you keep it simple or create a more complex concoction, you'll get to play with different scents to create your very own, completely custom scent blend.
Indecisive? Since you're making not one, but two candles, that means an opportunity to create two different scent blends. Make one for yourself and one to gift, or make both for yourself... we're not judging!
Once your scent blends are finalized, the next step is bringing them to life. You'll mix your custom scent blend into a cup of liquid soy wax, then stir... and stir... and stir some more. Now's your chance to play potionmaker, put your nose to work, and make adjustments to your blend before we turn it into a candle.
We'll also go over the benefits of working with all-natural 100% soy wax and the many reasons to steer clear of harmful paraffin wax. You can rest easy and enjoy in peace knowing your candle won't be polluting your home!
The final step is the really satisfying part! First, you'll learn about the importance of centered wicks while you learn how to prep your candle vessels like a pro. Then, it's time to pour!
Before we wrap up, we'll go over care instructions so you can get the most out of your custom creations. You'll get to take home one 8 ounce candle, one 4 ounce candle, two custom recipe cards, and the know-how to keep making your own candles for years to come.
After your candles are poured, it takes about 45 minutes for them to solidify enough to safely travel with. Any time you sign up for a Sfingiday class, you'll get 10% off your in-store purchase on the day of!
